Whether you’re a seasoned baker or a beginner, these biscuits are “chick” and easy to make. With just a few simple ingredients, you can create a “bunny-tiful” and delicious treat that is perfect for sharing with family and friends. So let’s get cracking and make some Easter biscuits that will have everyone “hopping” for joy!

Here’s What You’ll Need

125g cold unsalted butter (cubed)

125g caster sugar

250g plain flour

1 egg

1 tsp vanilla extract

Royal icing, mixed to pack instructions

Here's What You'll Do:
  1. Beat together butter and sugar until creamed.
  2. Add in egg and vanilla and beat again, your mixture might look odd but it will come together with the flour.
  3. Add in flour and mix until a dough is formed.
  4. Turn out onto a floured surface and knead the dough into a ball and then cover with film and chill in the fridge for 1 hour.
  5. Once chilled, roll dough out on floured surface, using Easter themed cutters to cut out your biscuit shapes.
  6. Place your shapes on prepared baking trays and place in the fridge to chill again for 30 minutes.
  7. Preheat oven to 190ºC/180 ºC
  8. Bake biscuits for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Leave to cool slightly on tray before transferring to a wire rack to cool fully.
  1. Once fully cool your biscuits are ready to decorate.
  2. Roll out the white sugarpaste and use the Easter themed cutters to cut out the sugarpaste, sticking each sugarpate shape onto each biscuit with Edible Glue. Repeat when all biscuit are covered, leave for a few hours to allow the sugarpaste to harden.
  3. Once sugarpaste has dried and hardened you can decorate with cake pens being as creative as you like.
