Pancake Baubles
Here’s What You’ll Need

175g self-raising flour

1tsp baking powder

40g caster sugar

1 egg

200 ml milk

Cake Décor Christmas sprinkles

Here's What You'll Do:
  1. Add self-raising flour, baking powder and caster sugar into a bowl and mix well. Make a well in the center of the mixture.
  2. Add the egg and a little milk and begin to mix with a fork or whisk, adding in more milk gradually until you have a smooth and thick batter.
  3. Grease a frying pan if not nonstick, place on a low heat. (If using an electric griddle, preheat to low.)
  4. Using an ice cream scoop, or dessertspoon, drop the batter onto the pan leaving space between each to allow the mixture to spread.
  5. Cook for a few minutes, when bubbles start to appear on the surface then flip each pancake using a spatula. Cook for a further minute or so until the pancake is golden brown on both sides (if your first pancake is not golden cook for a little longer or increase the heat slightly.)

(Top tip, placing the pancakes onto a folded tea towel and covering over helps to keep your pancakes soft and warmer for longer.)

  1. Once all pancakes have been cooked, they will be ready to decorate.
  2. Place your pancake on a plate. Cut a Rolo in half and place on the plate to the top of your pancake bauble. This will stick to the plate.
  3. Decorate with sprinkles. These can be placed on or stuck with some chocolate spread/ syrup/ honey depending on how you enjoy your pancakes 😊

To make this even easier you could buy ready made pancakes!
