Doughnut Biscuits

Bake:

1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (160°C for fan assisted ovens)/Gas Mark 4.
2. Carefully cut the stencil out.
3. Line a baking tray with greaseproof paper/baking parchment.
4. Empty the biscuit mix into a mixing bowl and add 65g of butter. Beat the mixture together until combines and then mix in the water.
5. Knead the dough together on a worktop until it forms a ball (add a sprinkle of flour if it’s sticky!).
6. Using a rolling pin, roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface to approximately 5mm thick. Cut out the doughnuts using a stencil.
7. Re-roll any off-cuts and repeat step 6.
8. Place the biscuits on the lined baking tray and bake in the centre of the oven for approximately 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
9. Once done, let the biscuits cool for 5 minutes on the baking tray then remove and leave to cool completely on a wire rack.

Decorate:

1. Once the biscuits have completely cooled, it’s time to make up your icing! Mix the pink icing sugar with 15g of butter and mix the chocolate icing sugar with 20g of butter. Smooth the icing over your biscuits evenly.
2. Finally, decorate your biscuits with the sprinkles and enjoy!
