Reindeer Bark

Oh deer, Christmas is almost here! Snow need to panic – grab some delicious milk chocolate, Edible Eyes, Red Chocolate Beans and a few pretzels and you can quickly make these super festive Reindeer Barks. It’ll be the perfect chocolate treat for you and all those Deer to you.

Here's What You'll Need:

2 Cups Milk Chocolate Chips

Cake Décor Edible Eyes

1 Pack of Red Chocolate Buttons

2 Candy Canes or Cake Décor Christmas Sprinkles (for extra decorating)

Here's What You'll Do:

  1. Line a baking mat with some wax or parchment paper. In a medium size bowl, put in your Milk Chocolate Chips and melt it in a microwave in 30 second intervals, mixing after each time until the white chocolate is fully melted and smooth. Pour the melted chocolate on the lined baking mat and spread it out smoothly using a spatula or a large spoon. 
  2. While the chocolate is soft, place your Red Chocolate Buttons on top of the melted chocolate, making sure there’s plenty of space between each Reindeer Bark. Place a pair of Edible Eyes just above the Red Nose. Take your Pretzels and break the corner of it for the Reindeer’s antlers. Place these just above the Eyes. Finally, whether you’re using a crushed candy cane or your Christmas Sprinkles, decorate the chocolate as you please! Place the chocolate in the fridge for about 10 minutes to harden.
  3. Once the chocolate has hardened, take it out the fridge and place it on a worktop. Carefully break the chocolate in pieces around the snowman and enjoy! (Pro Tip: You can use a knife to guide the breaks)
