Christmas Eve Biscuits

Keep the kids busy on Christmas Eve and let the festive spirits begin by making these super fun Christmas Eve Biscuits by Cake Décor! With delicious Biscuit Mix, Frosting and Sprinkles included, you get everything you need to bake 8 Christmas Eve Biscuits, all you need to add is a tablespoon of water and some butter!

Here's What You'll Need To Make 8:

  • 1 Cake Décor Christmas Eve Biscuit Kit
  • 65g Softened Butter
  • 1 Tbsp Water

Here's What You'll Do:

Bake Your Biscuits:
  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C/Fan 160°C/Gas Mark 4. Whilst your oven is heating, carefully cut the stencils out from the back of the box. Line a baking tray with greaseproof paper/baking parchment.
  2. Empty your biscuit mix into a mixing bowl and add in the butter. Beat the mixture together until combined then mix in the water. 
  3. Knead the dough together on a worktop until it forms a ball (Pro Tip: add a sprinkle of flour if the mixture is too sticky). Using a rolling pin, roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface to approximately 5mm thick. Next, cut out the stocking and hat biscuits using the stencils. Reroll any off-cuts and repeat. 
  4. Place your biscuits on the lined baking tray and bake in the centre if the oven for approximately 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  5. Once finished, cool your biscuits on the baking tray for about 5 minutes before transferring to cool completely on a wire rack.
Decorate Your Biscuits:
  1. Once your biscuits have cooled completely, take your frosting sachet and snip the corner. Pipe evenly over each of the biscuits (Pro Tip: use a smooth butter knife to smooth in nicely).
  2. Finally decorate all your biscuits using your Christmas Sprinkles!
