Halloween Cone Cupcakes

I scream a spooky treat! Swap your favourite cold treat and create these frightfully colourful Halloween Cupcake Cones this spooky season. Simply bake your favourite cupcakes in ice cream cones and go wild with the decorations using our spooktastic Halloween range!

Here's What You'll Need For 8:

For the vanilla cone cupcakes:

  • 8 Ice Cream Cones
  • 125g Caster Sugar
  • 125g Butter or Margarine, softened
  • 125g Self-raising Flour
  • 2 Large Eggs
  • 1tsp Vanilla Extract

Here's What You'll Do:

Bake Your Cupcakes:
  1. Preheat your oven to 180C/160C fan/gas 4. In a large bowl, whisk together the butter, sugar and vanilla extract. Sift in the flour, add the eggs and beat everything together until you achieve a smooth mixture.
  2. Take your ice cream cones and, using a large tablespoon, fill each cone half full with the delicious batter. Put the filled ice cream cones on an oven tray.
  3. Place in the oven and bake for 20 minutes (You’ll know the cupcakes are baked when you insert a wooden skewer in the cupcake and it comes out clean). When finished, remove from the oven and leave to completely cool.
  1. Once your cone cupcakes have cooled completely, take your Halloween Frosting and place the frosting in a piping bag with a nozzle attached. In round motion, pipe a generous serving of the frosting on top of each cone cupcake. Add an extra Halloween element by squeezing some Red Writing Icing on the sides of the frosting around the edges of each of cone.
  2. Finally, finish off your Halloween Cupcakes with your Halloween Sprinkles over each of the cupcake’s frosting (Pro Tip: for the larger sprinkles, you can take them out and beautifully place them on top whatever way you like).
